White Oak Land Conservation Society (WOLCS) is a non-profit organization in Holden whose mission is to acquire and manage open space. We are entirely volunteer-driven! The properties we own have been acquired by the hard work of volunteers, along with funding from the State, generous local foundations, landowners, and members in and around Holden.

The trails on our properties have been constructed and maintained by volunteers. We invite anyone using these areas to help maintain them by becoming members and donating to help preserve these areas as we work to acquire other important open space.

*Our thanks to Greater Worcester Land Trust, whose Hike Worcester challenge inspired our own!
